This 12’+ paved trail forms the 5-mile central spine of Zionsville’s network of over 20 miles of interconnected, paved pathways. The Big-4 Rail Trail begins at Zionsville Rd in our southeastern corner and continues to our municipal border with Whitestown where the trail continues its journey across Boone County. Trailhead parking and amenities are available at Zionsville Road Trailhead, Nancy Burton Trailhead, Zionsville Town Hall, American Legion Trail Crossing, Carter Station, and Heritage Trail Park.
