Magical Park turns a normal park into a digital playground that encourages kids and families to explore a virtual world. Visitors to the Mulberry Fields can download the free Magical Park app. Herd kittens, run away from the bad fairy, or come face to face with a giant T-Rex all while using a smart phone or tablet. The game encourages users to play, walk, run and be active in the great outdoors. Those with limitations to play can use the “easy play” feature and walk. In addition to the digital playground being open during normal park hours, the Parks Department will provide special activities and experiences during the three-month event to encourage kids and families to get out and play.

Here’s a chance for you and your dog to get out and explore the Zionsville Parks this fall. Registration for Tails on the Trails is free. Visit www.zionsville-in.gov/specialevents for more information and to register for the program. Join us for weekly dog walks, September 1 – October 31.

Join the pickleball craze that has been sweeping the nation! Join us for an introduction to pickleball! This class will cover the basics of pickleball rules, terminology, primary skills, and more. Paddles and balls will be provided. For safety reasons, the class will not meet if the courts are wet. Ages 15+

Join a librarian from the Hussey-Mayfield Library and a Naturalist from the Zionsville Nature Center for a Nature Storytime! We will read an exciting story about turtles and meet one of the turtles that call the Zionsville Nature Center home. Ages: 3+
