    Tim Shier, Assistant Nongame Mammologist with Indiana Department of Natural Resources will be joining us for a in depth program on bats. Tim will discuss bat species native to Indiana, their habits, conservation, why bats are important, the threats they face, as well as dispelling the many myths of these important nocturnal creatures.

  9. Electric Vehicle (EV) Readiness Information Session

    Zionsville is one of 6 communities to participate in the 2021 Indiana Department of Environmental Management's (IDEM) Clean Community Challange Pilot program. As part of this program, our Climate Fellow is working with our team to design an electric vehicle (EV) readiness road map for Zionsville. This plan will map out the path for Zionsville to build out public charging infrastructure, engage the community to gather feedback and convert the Town’s fleet of vehicles to electric vehicles where possible. Attend an information session to learn about the plan's process, goals and drafted content and to share your input. Please RSVP by emailing cap@zionsville-in.gov.
