The Town of Zionsville’s Community Enrichment Grant Committee awarded its fall 2023 grants, the sixth round of awards since the grant program launched in January of 2021. Eight local non-profits received grants with a total of $67,774 infused into the community.
The local non-profits that received funding are Boys and Girls Club of Boone County ($10,000 grant), Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library Foundation ($5,000 grant), ILADD, Inc. ($2,000 grant), SullivanMunce Cultural Center ($5,434 grant), The Cabin Counseling and Resource Center ($15,000 grant), Zionsville Alliance for Mental Wellness ($10,340 grant), Zionsville Cultural District ($10,000 grant) and Zionsville Lions Park ($10,000 grant).
Earlier this year as part of the spring grant cycle, the Zionsville Community Enrichment Grant Committee awarded $49,285 to local non-profits. As part of the budget, Zionsville Town Council also funded $60,000 each to two other local non-profits – the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce and zWORKS.
Grants will fund several community events and address community needs including a summer reading program, a mental health program, a new mural in the village business district and more.
The Community Enrichment Grant Committee is a citizen-led committee with three members: Jennifer Cross, Lauren Hernandez-DeCrane and Allison Williams. Non-profits located in Boone County that serve Zionsville residents and businesses are encouraged to apply for funding.
