The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has awarded the Town of Zionsville a Community Crossings Matching Grant valued at a maximum of $120,950.50. Zionsville will use the grant toward funding DPW’s 2022 road rehabilitation and repaving projects.
These projects are funded with a 50/50 match, and the Town of Zionsville must match the grant award with local funds. The grant award is based on detailed estimates that DPW provided in the application and the final amount will be based on actual contract pricing.
“I am grateful for the partnership between state and local governments on this semi-annual grant program. This money will allow us to continue to improve our roads and complete other projects,” Director of Public Works Lance Lantz said.
