[ARCHIVED] Participate in a community information session about the Historic Preservation Commission

Community Information Session

WHAT: Community information session about the proposed ordinance for a Historic Preservation Commission for Zionsville.

WHEN: Tuesday, March 8 at 6 p.m.

WHERE: Zionsville Town Hall, 1100 W. Oak Street (first floor). The information session will also be streamed on Town’s YouTube with a recording available after.

WHY: The newly drafted Historic Preservation Commission ordinance would allow the opportunity for any area in Zionsville to be considered for a conservation or historic district. Town Councilor Joe Culp will lead the meeting, and representatives from Indiana Landmarks and the Town’s zoning consultant (McKenna) will participate. A previous session on this topic took place in 2021. This meeting will provide updates to the process and the proposed ordinance.

OTHER: View the proposed ordinance and other information at www.zionsville-in.gov/historicdistrict. We encourage you to submit questions in advance of the meeting by emailing historicdistrict@zionsville-in.gov.
