[ARCHIVED] Town of Zionsville unveils wayfinding draft design concept

Getting Around Zville

The Town of Zionsville is pleased to unveil the Wayfinding Master Plan virtual open house and draft signage design concept. Utilizing what was heard during the wayfinding survey that launched late last year, the Town worked with E. Holdings, Inc. and designed a draft signage concept of a full signage family proposed for Zionsville.

This virtual open house is organized around a combination of videos, graphics, text and questions that describe the project background and the draft signage concept. Now the Town invites the public to visit the virtual open house and provide input before the plan is finalized.

Last year the Town of Zionsville launched the Wayfinding Master Plan to draw and direct residents and visitors passing through the area to explore amenities, attractions and businesses within the community. The wayfinding survey, which received nearly 1,000 responses, provided input to guide and assist the Town in creating a cohesive, user-friendly and creative signage system throughout Zionsville.

“Wayfinding has been an important initiative of our administration,” said Mayor Emily Styron. “The coordinated signage program will encourage residents and visitors to go the distance and discover all the great amenities, shopping and dining experiences Zionsville offers. With your help, we can ensure Zionsville has a new signage system that is informative and complements our town’s sense of place.”
