With the statewide mask mandate set to expire on April 6, Indiana will be under a mask advisory. Face coverings will remain mandatory in all state buildings and facilities and in all vaccination and COVID-19 testing sites until further notice. K-12 schools will continue under current requirements through the remainder of the 2020-21 school year.
As it relates to the current public health situation, the Town of Zionsville continues to follow the Boone County Health Department’s (BCHD) recommendations and is aligned with the BCHD’s guidance. At Zionsville Town Hall and public buildings, we continue to follow COVID-19 safeguards while managing a COVID-19 response plan for Town facilities.
Town Hall renovation work is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 5. During this time, Town Hall remains closed to foot traffic but open by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, please call the Town of Zionsville at 317-873-5410. Construction is anticipated to last until early June. Schedule updates will be shared as available.
This reconfiguration project will add a customer-centered Municipal Action Center (MAC) on the first floor. When you enter Town Hall, the MAC will be the one space you visit for all government services. We are moving administrative staff from the Department of Public Works (DPW) and Parks Department to Town Hall by finishing the vacant space on the second floor. This project substantially reduces the need to build new office space in the future for an estimated savings of $1.3 million.
We want to serve our customers to the best of our ability and bringing services and experts together allows us to do so.
