After many positive responses from the Zionsville Gateway Area (ZGA) Listening Session on Oct. 1, a second Listening Session is taking place open house style on Thursday, Oct. 22 from 9 – 11 a.m. and from 4 – 6 p.m. at Zionsville Town Hall. The material in the morning session and the evening session will be identical so volunteers can participate during the timeframe that works best. For those who participated in the first Listening Session, this is the same presentation.
Stations will be spaced out to allow for social distancing. Volunteers participating must wear a mask, maintain social distancing and utilize the hand sanitizer stations. The in-person process will take each person about 40 – 50 minutes to complete.
For those who prefer to participate virtually, click here to participate in the virtual ZGA Listening Session.
In late July, the Town of Zionsville began the first stage of the ZGA plan with the demolition of the PNC bank building and locksmith shop at the northwest corner of Main and Sycamore Streets. The next step includes engaging the community during the ZGA Listening Sessions.
The mission statement of the Zionsville Gateway Area plan is “to identify the highest, best and most sustainable mix of uses within the Zionsville Gateway Area and to explore ideas for an economically vibrant, whole-community serving and authentically Zionsville experience.”
