Airport Logo

The Town of Zionsville and the Hamilton County Airport Authority have announced an open house for updating a Land Use Plan for properties adjoining, in proximity to and in the flight path of the Indianapolis Executive Airport. The open house will take place on Tuesday, July 28 at 7 p.m. at the Indianapolis Executive Airport (11329 East State Road 32, Zionsville, IN 46077).

The purpose of the open house is to gather public input on draft concepts from a team of consultants related to both the growth of the Zionsville community and the growth of the airport in terms of air traffic and runway length.

It is not required to attend the open house in order to participate in the process. Information and initial consultant findings are available on the Town’s website. Written comments can be submitted to the consulting team via email at communitydevelopment@zionsville-in.gov or mail (Zionsville Town Hall, Attention: Roger Kilmer, 1100 West Oak Street, Zionsville, IN 46077).

For those attending the open house, it is encouraged to view the information in advance. Open house attendees must wear a face covering and practice social distancing. All attendees will be asked to complete a screening process to identify potential risk factors associated with COVID-19. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP in advance of the event by emailing communitydevelopment@zionsville-in.gov or calling 317-690-6539. In the case where interest exceeds capacity, there will be a second open house and presentation the same evening at 8 p.m.
