Zionsville residents and visitors will be able to view the annual Zionsville Lions Club 4th of July fireworks this year with some modifications. The Zionsville Lions Club, with support of its Partners in the Park and in conjunction with the Town of Zionsville, Zionsville United Methodist Church, Zionsville Community Schools and Maplelawn Farmstead, will be displaying fireworks from Mulberry Fields.

The fireworks will begin at 10 p.m. with parking and viewing areas opening at 8 p.m. Guests are invited to watch the fireworks display from areas surrounding Mulberry Fields. Viewing areas include:

  • Maplelawn Farmstead
  • Zionsville United Methodist Church (parking available)
  • Baseball fields to the southwest of Zionville Middle School (parking available)
  • Zionsville Community High School (parking available)
  • Mulberry Fields (limited viewing area)

Parking is also available at Pleasant View Elementary and Jennings Field. During this event, parking will be very limited. When possible, guests are asked to bike or walk to a viewing location or watch the fireworks from their home for those in a surrounding neighborhood. Guests may not park on the street.

Guidelines for attendees:

  • There will be no public restrooms or food service.
  • Smoking and alcohol are prohibited.
  • Guests cannot set off their own fireworks.
  • Guests are asked to maintain social distancing.
  • Guests are asked to leave dogs and pets at home.

“The Town of Zionsville has enjoyed working with the Zionsville Lions Club, the Zionsville United Methodist Church, Zionsville Community Schools, Maplelawn Farmstead and all community partners to host the annual 4th of July fireworks,” said Mayor Emily Styron. “While this year’s event will look a little different, we know this long-running event is something residents look forward to year after year. Mulberry Fields will provide a great backdrop for spectators to social distance and remain safe during this fantastic local tradition.”

“We would like to thank our Partners in the Park for their continued support of the Zionsville Lions Club,” said Zionsville Lions Club 4th of July Chair Steve Gayheart. “We have seen a tremendous amount of collaboration with our community partners and would like to thank Mayor Emily Styron and the Town of Zionsville, Zionsville United Methodist Church, Zionsville Schools and Maplelawn Farmstead for their support and work to help the Lion’s club organize our 4th of July fireworks. It will be a great show as always and we’ve already started planning to be back in Lion’s park for next year’s show!”

A rain date is scheduled for Monday, July 5. For more information, visit www.zionsvillelions.com.
