[ARCHIVED] Town of Zionsville announces temporary curbside parking spaces

Carry Out Parking Signs_Page_1

In an effort to support restaurants that depend on carryout orders and to help residents and visitors who will be using these services during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Town of Zionsville is establishing temporary curbside parking spaces in commercial corridors.

To slow the spread of COVID-19, Gov. Holcomb announced that bars and restaurants are required to close to-in person patrons and may provide take-out and delivery services only.

Curbside parking spaces that allow for temporary parking of 15 minutes or less will be placed in front of Zionsville restaurants. Signage is in production, but in the meantime, the Town will be utilizing signage that is currently on hand.

“We are implementing measures to protect the health and safety of our community right now,” said Mayor Emily Styron. “We can’t forget about the local businesses and employees impacted by these measures, including our restaurants. Local restaurants are vital to our economy and to getting us through this. We are going to keep looking for ways to support our local community.”
