[ARCHIVED] Plans for Elm Street Green play area announced by Zionsville Park Board

Elm Street Green Playground Rendering

The Zionsville Park Board has announced plans for a new play area at Elm Street Green. This play area, part of the Zionsville Parks and Recreation Five Year Master Plan, will be designed as an “adventure” space with elements such as climbing boulders and a climbing net.

The Elm Street Green play area will be designed for children ages 6 – 10, though there will be elements available for smaller children as well.

Construction is planned to begin this year, however, implementation is dependent on bid responses and resultant overall costs. Due to weather constraints and other unknowns such as the number and quality of the bid responses, the timeline for completion cannot be predicted at this time.

Funding was provided by the Town’s elected officials for this year’s budget cycle.

More information will be shared on the Town of Zionsville website as available.
