    Little Sprouts sessions are designed for young children who are eager for group experiences but are not quite ready to attend on their own. It is a great way for caregivers and children to bond while experiencing the joy of music, movement, and creativity. Held on Fridays, each Little Sprouts session will have a similar format, but will explore a unique topic each week. Ages: 2 – 3

  2. Zionsville Puzzle Swap

    In celebration of National Puzzle Day you are invited to bring gently used puzzles to Zionsville Town Hall between January 3 and 25. Then return to Town Hall on Saturday, January 28 to choose a new one. • Puzzles can be any size but must be in their original box. • All pieces must be accounted for. • Puzzles can be dropped off at the Town Hall Mayors Action Center MAC Monday – Friday 8 am – 4 pm. Note: Town Hall will be closed January 2 and 16. • You will receive 1 ticket for every puzzle you bring. Max of 10 puzzles per person. • No puzzles accepted outside of normal business hours or after January 25. • No puzzles accepted day of the swap. • No puzzles with profanity, nudity or drug paraphernalia will be accepted. • Zionsville Parks and Recreation reserves the right to keep, donate or destroy any puzzles that do not follow guidelines listed above or are not swapped by the end of the program on January 28.

    In gardening it’s not just what you grow, it’s where you grow it, and the company it keeps. Companion planting is when two plants are grown close together for the benefit of one or both of those plants. That could be as simple as growing nectar-rich flowers among crops to attract pollinators, or two vegetables grown side by side to confuse or repel pests. Join us as we examine details of companion planting to help your garden reap the benefits including better growth and reduced pest damage.

  5. Indiana Master Naturalist - Program FULL

    The Indiana Master Naturalist (IMN) program provides hands-on opportunities to learn about Indiana’s natural resources. Adult learners will gain an understanding of Indiana's plants, waters, soils, wildlife, and other topics. The program provides a way for you to share knowledge, along with your life experiences, through volunteer services. The program includes 24 hours of class time. Class meets every other Tuesday thru May 9. To receive IMN certificate and pin 24 hours of volunteering must be completed within one year of taking the class. Ages: 18+
