An opportunity to showcase different artistic expressions and talents here in Zionsville
Join the parks this summer at Mulberry Fields as we celebrate a variety of different artistic mediums and talents including.
Saturday, August 6 – Bongo Boy
- 2 – 3 pm
Join us for a community drum circle tailored and facilitated for families, couples and single dude & dudettes. We encourage adults with drumming experience to keep the groove alive while providing opportunities for families to play together in a fun, safe and creative way. Experienced drummers are always welcome!! Drums will be provided but feel free to bring your own.
Tuesday, August 9 – Art meets Health
- 6 – 7:30 pm
- Yoga provided by Blooming Life Yoga
- Martial Art demonstrations with Phoenix Rising Karate
Bring the entire family for Yoga in the Park (provide your own mat or beach towel) and Martial Art demonstrations as we explore the beautiful integration of art, body movement and health.
Saturday, August 13 – Park Paint Out!
- 1 – 3 pm
Join us as we transform blank canvas into a beautiful work of art with the help of the community. No prior painting experience required. Smaller canvases will be available for little artists to take home with them.
Tuesday, August 16 – Open Mic in the Park
- 6 – 8 pm
Whether your just starting out, testing out some new tunes or looking for an open stage grab your musical instruments and head over for our first ever Open Mic in the Park. We encourage family friendly music only. Audience members to enjoy the performances are needed as well. If you are interested in performing during open mic (music, comedy, etc) please email email@example.com

Creekfest is a celebration of Eagle Creek through recreation, stewardship and education and features activities for all ages. The annual Stream Cleanup is central component of Creekfest. Featured activities for all ages include a stream cleanup, kayak demonstrations, DNR Backyard Bass Casting Station, Creekstomp for Kids, educational booths and more. Parking at Creekfest will be limited at Elm Street Green so carpooling, cycling or walking is strongly encouraged.
Tails on the Trails
September 1 - October 31
Complete 6 of the 8 trail walks with your dog by October 31 to finish the spree and win a prize. AND each walk earns you a chance to win one of our weekly Wag Bag drawings.All walks must be turned in online by November 3.
Join our group walks for double points! Groups walk participation is not required, but it’s a nice chance
to socialize, ask questions and get information on
upcoming park events and activities.

Magical Park Digital Playground
September 1 - December 8

- Magical Park field play is limited in September due to field rentals Monday - Thursday.
Magical Park turns a normal city park into a digital fantasy land playground. Visitors to the Mulberry Fields can download the free Magical Park app. Herd kittens, run away from the bad fairy, or come face to face with a giant T-Rex all while using a smart phone or tablet. The game encourages users to play, walk, run and be active in the great outdoors. Those with limitations to play can use the “easy play” feature and walk. In
addition to the digital playground being open during normal park hours, the Parks Department will provide special activities and experiences during the three-month event to encourage kids and families to get out and play.
Trick or Trees
Saturday, October 22

- Fee: $2/child
Join Zionsville Parks and Recreation for this kid-friendly Halloween event. Explore the forest and meadow in fall and collect treats along the way on our trick-or-trees trail. Come dressed in your favorite costume.
Enjoy roasting marshmallows by the campfire, fun fall activities, mad scientist experiments, games with the Creekstomper and much more! All attendees will receive a reusable trick or treat bag.
