Support Services
ZFD Support Services is a vital division within the fire department that was created in December of 1997 for the primary purpose of on-scene support in the form of rehabilitation supplies for emergency workers. Support Services has grown from this primary purpose and also now organizes and operates the community fundraising events listed below.
Some Annual Fundraisers accomplished by Support Services are:
Fireman's Ball & Awards Banquet - Traditionally 2nd Saturday of Feb. - for Adults
Bunny Breakfast - Saturday before Easter - for kids
Pancake Day - Always the first Saturday of October- for Families
Support Services currently has 9 members, but we are always looking for more volunteers to help. We meet the first Wednesday of each month at the Zionsville Fire Department at 6pm for approximately one hour. If you are interested in applying to be a volunteer or have any questions, please contact the President of Support Services listed below.
