Bicycle Patrol
In 1997, the Zionsville Police Bike Patrol was created to aid in patrolling areas difficult to cover with a patrol car and to foster a better relationship with the community.

Criminal Investigations
The primary function of the Criminal Investigations Division is to conduct follow-up investigations of reported crimes. These investigations consist of interviewing suspects, victims, and witnesses, analyzing information for validity, and accuracy.

Honor Guard
The Zionsville Police Department Honor Guard Unit renders honors to fallen comrades and pays tribute to the sacrifices made by these men and women.

K9 Division
The Zionsville Police Department is looking to better the community and better its department by bringing back the K9 division. Donations are currently being accepted to fund the purchase, training and care of a K9 dog.

Reserves
The Zionsville Police Reserve is a volunteer unit of the Zionsville Police Department, authorized by the Town Council under Indiana state statute.

Special Response Team
The Special Response Team is comprised of highly trained specialized personnel to ensure the highest degree of safety for law enforcement officers and the general public.

Uniformed Services
The Uniformed Services Division is comprised of 20 merit Officers and uniformed Officers of the Reserve Division. The Patrol Division currently patrols 77 miles of streets in 12 square miles, in 2 patrol districts.
